Elevate your Linux skills and complete your path to LPI LPIC-1 certification — master shells, scripting, desktops, administrative tasks, system services, networking, and security.
Linux 2 is the second in a two-course series preparing learners for the Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 certification. Building on the foundations of Linux 1, this 18-chapter course covers advanced shell features and scripting, graphical interfaces and desktops, user and group administration, job scheduling, system logging, email and printer management, networking fundamentals and troubleshooting, and system security including account security, host security, and encryption. Through a “practice as you read” approach, each learner has hands-on access to a live Linux virtual machine alongside 18 prescriptive step-by-step labs. The course aligns to the LPI LPIC-1 Exam 102-500 objectives. Completing Linux 1 and Linux 2 together prepares learners for the full LPI LPIC-1 Linux Administrator certification, also recognised by CompTIA Linux+. Developed in collaboration with Network Development Group (NDG).
