Wade into the world of Linux — learn the fundamentals of the open-source operating system powering supercomputers, cloud computing, and the world’s leading technology companies.
Linux is the back-end operating system used by global technology leaders including Facebook, Google, Microsoft, NASA, Tesla, and Amazon. In as little as eight hours, Linux Unhatched introduces the essentials of Linux through a “practice as you read” approach — each learner has hands-on access to a live Linux virtual machine running directly in the browser. The course covers 20 fundamental Linux commands across 22 sections, building a solid foundation in Linux command line education. Developed in collaboration with Network Development Group (NDG), the course aligns to various LPI Linux Essentials Exam 010-160 objectives and is a natural stepping stone to the Linux Essentials or Linux 1 courses. No prior Linux experience is required.
